Maxis' fourth installment in The Sims series is apparently pretty robust when it comes to customization, as evidenced by the recent emergence of some popular TV shows faithfully recreated within the game's virtual boundaries.

The Sims 4 offers a lot of options and scope when it comes to creating virtual people, and if you feel like using some familiar faces, you can simply grab some pre-made TV series sets and characters, such as the ones revealed by Reddit user ian80.

Ian shared a number of screenshots showing the sets and characters of popular TV comedy shows such as Seinfeld and Friends, impressing everyone with the painstaking recreation of the two shows.

How to get them

The Sims 4's Gallery feature allows you to grab the sets and characters without any hurdles. All you have to do is search for Ian's Origin ID, ian8000, in the Gallery section of the game.

The resemblance is uncanny, and you start your Sims 4 adventure by playing out your fantasy of hanging out with either Ross, Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler, or Jerry, Kramer, George and Elaine, or, why not, even shake things up by having the two casts of characters meet.

In addition to this, the Gallery includes multiple fully decorated apartments from the two shows, even the Central Perk, the coffee house that the Friends cast hangs out at in the show.

The best thing about it all is that Maxis' engine allows everything to be instantly recognizable, and you can immediately tell what the entire thing is about simply by looking at a couple of images.

Where to see more

Reddit user ian80 uploaded several in-game screenshots to Imgur, enabling people to more easily see both his work recreating the familiar environments and characters from "Friends" and the ones from "Seinfeld."

His work, however, did not stop there, as he also created additional TV show-themed projects, such as the "Golden Girls Villa," the "Arrested Development" set, and the cast of "Project Runway."

The Sims 4 just came out last week, and the life simulation game is pretty good, even though it's still missing a lot of features. It improves every area from its predecessor, and if you want to find out exactly what's new, good and bad about it, you can have a look at our The Sims 4 review.

It was a about the right time for a Seinfeld binge anyway.
