It's been years that Nicolas Cage started making movies for quick money: after all, his problems with the IRS are well documented. “Seeking Justice” seems to be one of those movies.

Cage plays Will Gerard in the film, a husband who lives happily with his wife Laura (January Jones). Their lives are disrupted when she's brutally attacked one night, as she's returning home from work.

While waiting at the hospital to learn more about her condition, Will is approached by a shady-looking Mr. Simon (Guy Pearce), who offers to “take care” of the attacker in his place.

In exchange, he asks for a favor that he'll reclaim at a later time.

As it turns out, Simon is part of an underground vigilante movement, and the favor he has in mind involves Will killing a known offender.

You know what they say, turning to vigilantism is never a good call.

“Seeking Justice” is out in the US on March 16 but it's already playing in various territories.
