It seems that the couple opted for a simple and somber design

It was bound to happen and it was bound to happen soon. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding invitation has leaked online. One of the people who got invited thought nothing of snapping a photo and selling it to the tabloids so you can see it first before many of the other guests.

Us Weekly has obtained the photo and stands by its authenticity. A first glance reveals that Kim and Kanye have done the unthinkable and went low-key with their wedding invitations, something that normally none of us would have thought to be possible.

Written in simple block letters with golden ink, the invitation also has a bland background, nothing fancy, outrageous or eye-catching. The invitation doesn't even give out that many details about the wedding itself really, warning the guest that he or she will get more information upon arrival.

We have confirmation that the wedding is going to take place on May 24 in Paris and the invitees are warned that it's a black tie event. Also, we find out that the rehearsal dinner is going to take place one day before the wedding, on May 23, at six o'clock in the evening. For this event, guests are asked to show up in cocktail attire.

This invitation is also the confirmation of the fact that the Kardashians are keeping a very tight lid on the locations. An insider revealed last month that “Guests won't know the venue until they get to Paris,” and added that Kim “hasn't even told her sisters.”

It looks like Kim and Kanye are going to surprise us all and do the unthinkable: a small, private wedding that's not going to be televised as it was originally planned. Kim confirmed this week that E! was going to be filming the preparations for the ceremony and stuff that went down after, not the wedding itself.

And here we all thought that Kim couldn't wait to cash in on her third wedding. But rest assured that some money will be made from the nuptials. Kim and Kanye have already sold the photo rights to Vogue Magazine, probably for a hefty sum and also probably as part of their deal that saw the famous couple be featured on the Vogue magazine cover in April.

Kim said on social media that the decision was taken together with Kanye to skip on sharing the vows with the rest of the world, but they would film “everything leading up til and after.” Their reason is that “we've decided to keep this close to our heart and share thru photos (sic).”
