IT security company Secunia launched an intermediate version of their cloud-based patch management solution. As its name suggests, Secunia SmallBusiness targets small businesses and SOHO (Small Office/Home Office).

It is free to use for up to five PCs for private users and small business alike, but it is designed for as many as 50 machines. At the moment, Secunia SmallBusiness is in public beta and can be used free of charge until the stable version emerges (3 months).

The highlights for the product include controlling security updates on all the machines from a web-based console. Additionally, non-Microsoft software solutions receive updates automatically and checks if all patches for the operating system are applied.
