IT security solutions provider Seculert has expanded its executive team. Richard Greene has been appointed as president of field operations, while Moshe Meiseles has been named vice president of research and development.

Greene has been in the IT security business for more than 25 years. He has previously served as president and CEO of AppCentral, and has held sales and management positions at companies such as Symantec, PGP and McAfee.

Before joining Seculert’s executive team, Meiseles was executive vice president of engineering at OpTier.

This latest move is part of Seculert’s plans to expand rapidly. In July 2013, the company raised $10 million (€7.3 million) in a Series B investment round.

“We are seeing increasing demand for our advanced threat protection solution across the Fortune 5000,” said Dudi Matot, CEO of Seculert.

“Richard and Moshe both bring years of extensive experience in the IT security industry to Seculert. They will help accelerate the adoption of our technology worldwide while also ensuring customers receive maximum value from those products.”
