One of the most anticipated productions of 2010 is “Clash of the Titans,” directed by Louis Leterrier, the man who also helmed the second “Transporteur” film and “The Incredible Hulk.” With a stellar cast including Liam Neeson and Sam Worthington, the film is actually a remake – and fans just get to have a second look at it, thanks to the release of a new trailer, as AceShowbiz can confirm.

In the film, Worthington is Perseus, half god and half mortal, and is faced with the eternal battle of choosing between immortality and his humanity. In the process of solving this dilemma, he will also erect himself as the savior of the world, which, of course, leaves little doubt as to what he’s going to chose. A film promising plenty of action and good acting, it’s no wonder “Clash of the Titans” is on the list of the hottest productions to come out this year.

“Another sneak peek at ‘Clash of the Titans’ has been made available for viewing pleasure through a new international trailer. Only sharing few new footage, the video debuted by IGN gives a preview to Sam Worthington’s Perseus, the son of god with the heart of a man, who embarks on a mission to save the world,” AceShowbiz writes. However, he must save the world before Hades unleashes his fury on mankind, a fury of which fans only get a glimpse in the new trailer.

“‘Clash of the Titans’ is a modern version of the 1981 Greek mythology film. It revolves around Perseus. Helpless to save his family from Hades, he volunteers to lead a mission to defeat the vengeful god of the underworld before Hades can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Joining Sam Worthington in the cast ensemble are Gemma Arterton as Io, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, and Jason Flemyng as Acrisius among many others,” the same e-zine goes on to say.

Below is the full new trailer. “Clash of the Titans” arrives in theaters in the US on March 26, 2010, but keep an eye on this space in the meanwhile. Enjoy.
