14 DAY TRIAL // Only days after the first tape that Oksana Grigorieva made during a phone call conversation with her ex Mel Gibson emerged, the second audio has leaked – and it’s even more chillingly disturbing than the first. In the 7+-minute audio, the actor admits to hitting his girlfriend twice, abuses her in almost unimaginable ways and, on two separate occasions, threatens to kill her if she dares alert the police on what was going on, as Radar Online can confirm.
This is the same media outlet that also brought to light the first audio. Though it won’t say where it got its hands on it, Radar vouches the recoding is genuine: and judging by the voices on it, it surely seems so. The audio begins with Mel telling Oksana not to even think about hanging up on him because he called her to give her a piece of her mind – and that is precisely what he’ll do. He then launches a series of profanities and abuse at her, blaming her for everything that’s bad in his life, including the fact that he no longer has any friends.
“Mel Gibson, under investigation for domestic violence, admits to hitting Oksana Grigorieva and TWICE threatens to kill her in an explosive new audio tape obtained and released exclusively by Radar Online. The enraged actor tells the mother of his eight-month old daughter Lucia ‘you deserved it’ after she says that he hit her and broke her teeth. […] As Mel and Oksana argue, the Braveheart star becomes increasingly incensed, and tells her: ‘You need a [expletice]-ing bat in the side of the head. Alright, how about that?’” Radar writes.
Then, as Oksana too loses some of her cool and tells him that she only left him because she feared for her and her daughter’s life, and then says that the day will come when he will have to answer for this kind of behavior, Mel explodes: “Threaten ya? I’ll put you in a [expletive]-ing rose garden you [expletive]! You understand that? Because I’m capable of it. You understand that?” He also tries to make a point that, while he does not want Oksana anymore because she used him, he wants to be a part of his daughter’s life because she’s “important.”
Useless to say, reaction to this second leaked tape has been anything but favorable to Gibson. All this while, camp Grigorieva insists the Russian singer was not responsible for how these audio recordings became public. TMZ reports the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department has asked for all the tapes to be handed over, as they may constitute evidence for a spousal abuse case.
