You might want to take a good look at Charlize Theron these days because her time as a single lady is about to come to an end. From the sound of things, Sean Penn has big plans for her, which involve taking her off the market for good and turning her into his wife.

An insider with the couple told Us Weekly that “they absolutely want to get married” and that “they want to grow a family.” Of course, not everyone agrees, since many find Charlize's stunning beauty is wasted on the age actor. That being said, they do look like they're very much in love.

The 38-year-old South African beauty and the 53-year-old actor have been going out for some time now, and during every outing, they've displayed some serious PDAs, even at public events. Whenever they showed up for an award show or charity gala, these two couldn't keep their hands off each other, even though Charlize confessed this month in an interview that she never saw the relationship coming.

“Sean and I have known each other for 18 years. We were just really good friends. And it's been slow going because you are aware that you could screw that up and lose it,” she told Vogue Magazine. In another interview, she admitted she liked being in love and that she was not single anymore, “It was nice to be single and now it's nice to be not single.”

Charlize has never been married before, which is something very rare for a woman in Hollywood with her looks and pedigree, but she did have a 9-year relationship with actor Stuart Townsend which came to an end in 2010. Since then, she didn't have a steady boyfriend, but she did adopt her 2-year-old son Jackson in 2012.

For Penn, the list of relationships is much longer: he was married to Madonna between 1985 and 1989, then to Robin Wright, with whom he fathered daughter Dylan and son Hopper, both of them now in their ‘20s.

Since they've decided to upgrade their friendship to a relationship, both actors seem to be really happy with one another, so they must be doing something right. It could just be that their interests align and that they're both in a place in their lives where they just don't need the aggravation, just the real deal.

Though many men will be sad to see Charlize get taken off the market, if Penn does get the nerve to ask the question, they are going to make a lovely couple, despite the difference in age and, let's be honest, hotness factor.
