The new Seagate line for data protection and back up comes in several variants like the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus, Mini and the simple Maxtor OneTouch 4. The Plus model is the top of the line product designed for users looking at an elegant and simple design which is combined with full protective features while offering plenty of storage space. Retail prices are set as following $129.99 for 250GB, $199.99 for 500GB, $289.99 for 750GB and $359.99 for 1TB, with the mention that the 1TB drive will only be available starting in October. The next in line product, the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini, is the miniaturized version of the previous model as it offers the same high quality of services while being packed in a more compact and smaller form in order to be fully portable. The Mini line of products is the first ever such line to be shipped with fully functional software tools and its suggested by the manufacturing company retail prices are in the range of $99.99 for a 80GB storage system and go as high as $149.99 for the 160GB variant.
The last Seagate product designed for data protection and back up is the most simple and basic Maxtor OneTouch 4, especially designed for customers needing only the most basic and easy to use back up functions.
