Scythe makes a point, like all of its rivals, to periodically update its product offer and, of course, he impact is always greater when it can release multiple newcomers instead of just one. As such, it made its move in force and unleashed a significant number of new power supplies. Said PSUs make up the Chouriki 2 series and are designed to cover a wide range of consumers, as is evident from their output and overall design.

What end-users will immediately notice is the fact that some of the newcomers have a modular cabling system, which will allow for better cable routing and, thus, improved airflow inside the casing. The non-modular design of the others can be seen as their only disadvantage. All units have the same efficiency rating, 80Plus Silver to be exact, and go all the way up to 90%. As for the actual specifications, they are almost identical, except for their various wattages.

The Chouriki 2 line goes from as low as 650W to as high as 1000W (1kW). They all employ high-quality 105°C Japanese capacitors and are compliant with not just the EPC 12V, but also the ATX 12V Version 2.3 specification. Furthermore, they boast sleeved cables. As for cooling, each of the newcomers has a 135 mm Kama Flex fan whose maximum rotary speed is of 1350 RPM. Every model is backed by a five-year warranty and has already been listed.

There are a total of eight PSUs, albeit only four wattages. The non-modular 650W, 750W, 850W and 1000W versions are priced at $121, $131, $163 and $175, the equivalent of 91.50 Euro, 100 Euro, 116 Euro and 129 Euro. Finally, the modular ones are priced at $132, $144, $176 and $185 (99 Euro, 108 Euro, 125 Euro and 135 Euro, respectively). The product page can be found here.
