Reality star Scott Disick, most famous for his appearances on E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians and for being Kourtney Kardashian’s longtime boyfriend and father of her 3 kids, checked into rehab one week ago, seeking help for his alcohol and drug problem.

Fans of the reality show probably know that he’s been struggling with both for a very long time, just as they must know that Kourtney has always been pushing him to get help. It seemed as if she’d won when he checked into a facility in Costa Rica.

Scott is done after just one week, too busy to continue

Only that she didn’t, sources close to the family reveal for TMZ: Scott spent exactly one week at the facility and he’s already made plans to leave. Apparently, he’d bought a plane ticket for LA for this past Saturday, but eventually decided to stay on for a little while longer, until today.

Today marks one week since he checked in and he wanted to make sure he completed at least one week of the 3-week treatment. His treatment, by the way included “intensive therapy involving the African psychedelic shrub Iboga,” which is believed to help curb addiction cravings.

As for the reason Scott cited for not wanting to stay for the entire duration of the program, it was his busy working schedule, which required his presence back in Los Angeles, the same report continues.

Ironically, before the Atlantic City rager that made him understand he had relapsed with alcohol again, Scott had blown a couple of appearances in London for reasons as silly as “I didn’t feel like doing it,” even though he’d been booked in advance and there were people depending on him to honor his contract.

Kourtney probably has no idea

And this is where things get even trickier: just hours before this story made it to press, Kourtney was speaking with Extra at a Las Vegas party, praising Scott for finally taking matters in his own hands and taking the necessary steps towards getting clean and sober again.

“He’s been through a lot and I think we’ve all been through a lot with him on this journey and I think he’s wanting and willing to change and so that’s really important to me and I think he’s doing a great job and always looking to better himself,” Kourtney explained.

So either she had no idea that he’d already made up his mind about leaving rehab, or she did and the whole relapse thing was staged for publicity reasons or even to be included as a storyline on the next season of the series.

With the Kardashians, everything is possible.
