Flappy Bird has become very popular mainly because it’s a very difficult game to play. This means that a lot of users might try to find some sorts of cheats. Cybercriminals are counting on it.

Scammers have set up sites that promise a Flappy Bird hack that gives users unlimited lives.

These websites are advertised via Twitter. The cybercrooks have set up some Twitter bots that send messages to those who mention Flappy Bird. The messages sent out by the bots don’t contain a link. Instead, they contain a picture that advertises a website called bird100(dot)tk.

When internauts visit this website, they’re provided with instruction on how to activate the “unlimited lives cheat.”

In reality, the cheat doesn’t work. Instead, users are tricked into installing software and completing surveys. In addition to bird100(dot)tk, the same cheat is offered on flappybirdcheats(dot)pw. Both sites have the same content.

Beware of such websites! The internet is being flooded with trojanized versions of the game that help cybercriminals make a profit. Check out the gallery to see what these websites look like.
