There you have it, irrefutable proof that all the rumors and reports we've been getting for some time now are true: the Avengers as we know them are never coming back. You might want to book tickets for the screening of “Avengers: The Age of Ultron,” because it's going to be the last time you're going to see them in this lineup.

Kevin Feige, Marvel president and producer, has confirmed that the Avengers are going to change once the latest movie ends and the original lineup disbands. The idea is to keep up with the comic book story line, as well as introduce new elements.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Feige confirmed that “The Avengers films, ideally, in the grand plan are always big, giant linchpins. It's like as it was in publishing, when each of the characters would go on their own adventures and then occasionally team up for a big, 12-issue mega-event. Then they would go back into their own comics, and be changed from whatever that event was. I envision the same thing occurring after this movie, because the [Avengers] roster is altered by the finale of this film.”

Now, fans that media are scrambling to find out who is going to be cut and who will stay on, not to mention which new super heroes are going to be included, since The Avengers is like the Super Bowl of super hero movies.

There has been some talk that elements from “Guardians of the Galaxy” are going to make way into the lineup, as well as brand new, never-before-seen characters, taken from the comics version. So far, the best guesses are that Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and Vision are going to make up part of the Avengers.

“Avengers: The Age of Ultron” is due out in theaters on May 1, 2015.
