Although the Holiday Season has ended, various optics manufacturers are trying to keep their sales at a decent level even in the first month of the year through tempting promotions.

This is also the case of Nippon manufacturer Tamron, which started a new rebate program for all its customers based in the United States.

There are three telephoto zoom lenses that benefit from this rebate: 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD, SP 70-300mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD, and 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II. The offer is as follows: if you purchase the 18-200mm lens you will get a $20 mail-in rebate, the 18-270mm lens benefits from a $50 rebate and the SP 70-300mm lens saves you $100 from its original price.

All lenses are available for Canon, Nikon, and Sony mounts with 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II also available for Pentax mount digital SLRs. To benefit from this offer you must cut out the serial number from the top of the lens box and send it along with the completed rebate form and a copy of your store sales receipt to Tamron.

The new discount program is valid starting January 1 through March 31, 2014 for all US customers who purchase one of the aforementioned Tamron lenses from the a Tamron Authorized Dealer.
