Microsoft is offering a consistent $500 discount to MIX11 participants that will register for the web-centric conference by February 11, 2011. A full Conference Pass is no less than $1,395 and it doesn’t include the pre-Conference Boot Camps ($350). Through February 11, the Redmond company is offering the early bird discounts to participants, which can register for as little as $895.

As it’s usually the case, this year’s MIX will be held in Las Vegas, namely at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

In addition to helping them save $500 on the conference pass, Microsoft is also offering one free hotel night for participants that book at least two nights at the Mandalay Bay.

“As a participant of MIX11, hotel accommodations are offered for a special conference rate of USD $234.00 plus taxes per night for rooms at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, and $264.00 plus taxes per night at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay,” Microsoft stated.

“Mandalay Bay and THEhotel add an $18.00/day resort fee to all reservations - we have negotiated a reduced resort fee of $7.50/day just for MIX11 attendees.

“This provides you with free in-room internet access, unlimited access to the Cardio Center located on the Beach Level, and 2 free cocktails (voucher(s) will be provided at check-in)!

“Rooms offered at this rate are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed after March 16, 2011 by 5:00pm, Pacific Daylight Time,” the company added.

Of course, the discounted rates are only available through the MIX11 registration process, and not directly at the hotel.

MIX11 will start on APRIL 12th, 2011 and is scheduled to end just two days later on the 14th. Those that want to attend the boot camps will need to be in Las Vegas ahead of April 11.

Microsoft has already confirmed a range of sessions for the conference’s agenda, but the company has yet to announce all the goodies that participants will be treated to.

Chances are that Internet Explorer 9 and Silverlight 5 will take center-stage at MIX11, in addition to other Microsoft technologies.
