Sanyo has just announced the launch of their W52SA phone model. This flip phone brings high performances especially when it comes to image capture and display, all in a stylish, slim design.

The handset comes in white, black and light blue colors and has a rectangular shape. No smooth lines and no curves for this phone model. It is meant to look rough and practical, although providing elegance through the simple lines.

Sanyo W52AS may not be among the smallest phone models available, at its 107 x 50 x 18.7 mm. Even more, it weighs 133 grams, which won't make it too light, for what counts.

Still, this handset has some features that make it stand out and shadow the areas where it fails to excel. Sanyo W52SA has a 2.8 inch TFT QVGA LCD screen. Moreover, its CMOS camera has almost 2 million effective pixels, which will provide high quality captures.

Sanyo W52SA is capable of handling some of the most basic media file types, including photos, emails and video recordings. The available internal memory for this phone model has not been revealed, but the fact that it also has a microSD external memory card slot is meant to make sure that it won't run out of space all that fast.

The cellular comes with the standard package from AU by KDDI, the Limo music service and FeliCa wallet mobile services. Aside from that, the GPS might come in handy for finding the fastest way to specific locations. As for the Internet functions, the type of connectivity has not been specified yet by the producers. They seem to have considered it much more important that this handset comes with an Opera browser.

Sanyo W52SA will be available starting June 21st this year. An estimated price for this phone model has not been revealed until now.
