Last week, we saw NVIDIA launch its latest-generation GPUs that promised double the battery life in gaming mode for notebooks sporting the new standard. And we have seen most of the important names in the industry, including MSI, Eurocom and Razer updating their flagship models with the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series.

Not so many customers are familiar with notebook maker, Santec, but the company hopes the adoption of NVIDIA’s latest will spark the interest of customers. So Santec has added GeForce GTX 800M GPUs inside five of its laptops, including the X85, T55, N87, M68 and G37 (via Notebook Italia).

The most compact model of the series is the T55 that comes with a 13.3-inch IPS display with full HD resolution. Users are given the choice between Intel Core processors, starting from Core i5-4200M up to Core i7-4900MQ combined with 4GB to up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM.

The lappy can be fitted with two storage units, with a choice between solid-state mSATA SSD and a traditional one with a capacity of up to 1TB 7200 RMP, that can be combined either way. The T55 is fitted with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 860M and its starting price is set at €949 / $1,319.

Moving on, to the Santex X85 that has a 15.6-inch full HD display that has a relatively similar configuration with the above model, with the exception that now there’s three models. In this case, the GPU is GeForce GTX 850M, with the starting price being the same as with the previous model.

More expensive and powerful is the Santec N87, a notebook with 15-inch Full HD displays, with processors starting from Core i7-4700MQ up to i7-4940MX combined with up to 32GB of RAM.

Here users are given a choice between the high-end GeForce GTX 870M and GTX 880M (based on the older Kepler architecture that’s been overclocked). This model is also up for pre-order with pricing going up from €1,379 / $1,916.

The M68 is one of the laptops from the line-up with the most spacious display, as it arrives with a full HD 17.3-inch screen. Under the hood, customers can opt for the same options as with the N87, while prices start from €1,419 / $1,972.

Last but not least, the most powerful in the bunch is the Santec G37, a notebook with a 17-inch full HD screen which has pretty much the same set of specs as the two previous models.

The main difference can be seen in the GPU department, where we have the GeForce GTX 880M configured in SLI. So this is probably the most powerful model in the bunch; therefore, the base version's pricing starts from $1,849 / €2,570.
