Regular viewers of the popular ABC hospital series “Grey's Anatomy” were shocked when one of the main characters of the show, actress Sandra Oh, who has been part of the original cast, said goodbye to the show at the end of the season 10 final episode.

The surprising finale was action-packed and full of suspense, as you might expect, as Christina's departure was also marked by a terrorist attack which lights a big fire of activity at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. The rest of the episode dealt with the increasingly shaky relationship between Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Demsey).

Viewers will remember that Christina's departure was announced two weeks ago, when dr. Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington) made a surprising short return and offered her the possibility of a new hospital position, as a way of making up to the fact that he left her standing at the altar.

The heartwarming scene where Christina does a slow-motion dance with Meredith is bound to raw at least a tear from the viewers if not more. The whiny scene is completed by her words to Meredith “Don't be a hero. I need you alive. You make me brave.”

If you want to know what happened nest, you'll have to wait until this fall when “Grey's Anatomy” is going to return for season eleven.
