14 DAY TRIAL // Last time fans saw Sandra Bullock on the red carpet was at the 2010 Academy Awards, the ceremony that saw her win the title of Best Actress of the Year. Days after that, her marriage went into crisis as women began coming forth to speak of husband Jesse James’ infidelities with the media. Sandra’s break from the spotlight will officially end on June 6, People magazine reports.
This date marks the MTV Movie Awards, the 2010 edition, where Sandra is also nominated in several categories. Rumors about her attending the gala and even walking the red carpet have been around for a few days but it’s just now that we have confirmation for them. By attending the awards, the star will officially put an end to her self-imposed isolation – but those expecting her to talk of her divorce from Jesse James could reconsider, because chances of that happening are slim to none, it is being said.
“Since her marriage crisis began Sandra Bullock has remained in seclusion while raising her new son, Louis. That will all change next month. On Wednesday she was named the recipient of the MTV Generation Award ‘for her riveting and diverse contributions to the film industry,’ and her rep confirms, ‘she will be attending’ the June 6 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, Calif., though she won’t be doing any interviews at the ceremony,” People reports.
“Bullock, 45, joins Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Spike Lee, Mike Myers and Adam Sandler, who’ve also been honored with the award. Cruise and Cameron Diaz are among the first presenters passing out the popcorn statues, along with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Chris Rock, Zac Efron and Jessica Biel. Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry are set to perform,” the magazine goes on to say.
Also at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Twi-hards from all over the world will be privy to a new exclusive clip from the upcoming installment of the “Twilight” franchise, “Eclipse,” as we reported a few days ago. Robert Pattinson, Kirsten Stewart and Taylor Lautner themselves will walk up on the stage to present it, like they did last year as well.
