Not since she was catapulted in the spotlight with the thriller / action movie “Speed,” co-starring Keanu Reeves, has Sandra Bullock had a bigger opening at the box-office as she had with “The Proposal.” Now in Britain to promote the romantic comedy, the actress tells GMTV’s Ben Shepherd (story via here) she has found the recipe for box-office success – wearing as little clothes as possible.

Starring as the shrewd, calculated businesswoman in “The Proposal,” opposite Ryan Reynolds, is Bullock’s first comedic role since “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed & Fabulous.” It also represents the first part that gives the star such a wonderful reception with the American public, since “The Proposal” made well over $43 million in its opening weekend alone, and it’s still to open in several other important markets. Because of this, Bullock jokes, she has come to the conclusion that it had to have something to do with one particular scene.

The scene to which the actress is referring has her and co-star Reynolds bumping into each other in the house they share when they’re not wearing any clothes. Her advanced degree of undress must be the answer as to why the movie is so successful, Bullock shares, adding that she has made a determination to never cover herself in any of her movies. Even more, she’s even going to make “blitz” appearances in the same manner in other actors' movies, even if they don’t want her there.

“I’m going to be 70 years old – everything like hanging down – and I’m just going to walk by in random people’s films. Come on, can you imagine me at 70, walking in who’s film? Zac Efron! Zac Efron doing a big film – there I am, running in the background [without clothes]. Just back and forth until someone notices. Big box office – they’re all going to want me in their film!” Sandra says.

On a more serious note, the actress also explains she had to get in the best shape possible for the part, specifically because of this one scene that was included in the script. As her personal trainer also revealed a few days back, it wasn’t easy for Bullock to do so but, in the end, the 45-year-old actress did it nonetheless – and is looking downright fabulous in her latest film, as she says so herself.
