The latest rumors point out that Samsung is working on a new compact system camera flagship called NX1 as well as on an entry-level mirrorless simply named Samsung F1.

According to Nxrumors, the South Korean electronics maker is also planning to introduce later this year a new NX mini series that will still pack an APS-C sensor but will be smaller than the current NX models.

In addition to that, the upcoming Samsung F1 will be the thinnest interchangeable lens camera on the market, and it seems that, when combined with the soon to be released 9mm prime lens, it will be thinner than the current NX1000 model (less than 1.44'' / 3.6cm).

Samsung F1 will be announced in April, probably around the NAB Show in Las Vegas, along with two new zoom optics. Expect to hear more about this at The Photography Show that takes place in Birmingham, UK, starting March 1 through March 4.
