It has only three large buttons, which are back-lit, bright, easy to see and easy to push, and this way you will never dial the wrong number. The buttons are named "Operator", "My choice" and "911".
The first is used to get in touch with the 24/7 available Jitterbug operator, that can connect you to a programmed entry in your phone book or any other person you wish. The operator can also help the user to manage the phone's features or to personalize and change the phone list.
The "My choice" button just dials the number that you dial most often, connecting you in an instant, without having to scroll through your entire phone book.
The "911" does just what its name says: gives you quick access to all the 911 services at your fingertip.
