Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy TabPRO line of tablets and everybody made a big deal out of it. And with good reason. The tech giant is bringing it all out, packing the slates with some pretty impressive high-end features.

First of all, there’s the amazing display which bundles a 2560 x 1600 resolution and you’ll see twice as many pixel than the market’s standard. So you can get an idea, HDTVs or smartphones out there usually boast 2,073,600 pixels per screen, but Sammy wows us by implementing a massive 4,096,000 pixels into the tablets.

Obviously, the more pixels on a device, the more horsepower you need to back everything up. And it appears Sammy has managed to arrange everything quite smoothly under the hood, as seen in the first benchmark tests performed by PhoneArena.

The various benchmarks applied on the slates, compare them to other models available on the market today, in order to give us an idea of what kind of performance we’re dealing with here.

The first test was made with AnTuTu benchmarks (which is a combination of CPU, Memory and Graphics tests) and the TabPRO 12.2 scored 34,572 points while the 8.4 landed at 34,514. The TabPRO 10.1 is a little behind with 33,219.

The results are pretty understandable, since the new slates all pack in the most recent hardware.

Compare the numbers to the Google Nexus 7 (2013) that features a cheaper Snapdragon S4 Pro processor version and manages to score only 19,786.

The Vellamo benchmark, on the other hand, performs HTML5 tests in order to determine overall web browsing performance. The results are a bit strange here, with devices running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean actually performing a little bit better than Samsung’s new bunch of slates that come equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat.

Nevertheless, overall results for the Galaxy TabPRO line are promising, showing us these are capable devices, that should be an excellent addition for any customer looking to add more power to their lives.
