Not so long ago, one of Samsung’s upcoming tablets, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has been spotted paying a visit to the FCC.

Back then, we saw a couple of sketches become available with the filing documents and even though the documents didn't reveal much in terms of specifications, we still got an idea of what was coming our way in the first months of the year.

At this point, we know that the 8-incher will feature Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and will probably become available in two flavors, Wi-Fi only (SM-T320) and LTE (SM-T325).

And now, based on the images in the filing, Chinese website Moveplayer.net has managed to come up with a concept design, showing us how the device might end up looking when it hits retail shelves.

But taking a look at what they have come up with, we can’t help but feel a little disappointed, as the design seems a little reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 3 (complete with the not-so-appealing faux-leather on the back).

With all the fuss going around about Samsung and its master plan of conquering the tablet market in 2014, we would have envisioned something more revolutionary.

To be fair, this is a mere concept, so the actual device might end up sporting a completely different look altogether.

Now, even if the Galaxy Tab 8.4 has been confirmed to be coming in the first Q1 of 2014, we still haven’t managed to find out any more details about its specifications, which remain a mystery.

Apart from the slate mentioned above, Sammy is expected to pull the veil off three more in the upcoming months, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the budget Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is expected to arrive complete with 16GB of storage and to be unveiled in week six of the New Year.
