South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung announced on Sunday the launch of its first device powered by the bada OS, the Samsung Wave S8500, and now we learn that carriers already line up to include the handset in their offering. Among these operators, we can count T-Mobile, which will have the phone available for purchase in the UK and other European markets, and Orange.

According to a recent article on Mobile News, T-Mobile parent company Deutsche Telekom already confirmed plans to launch the handset in the UK in the second quarter of the ongoing year, and it seems that it will bring it to seven other markets too. At the same time, the news site says that Orange is also planning the inclusion of Samsung Wave S8500 in its offering for the UK market.

The new mobile phone is the first handset delivered to the market with Samsung's new bada operating system on board. The device was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and is expected to deliver 1GHz processor, a 3.3-inch 'Super AMOLED' display, and a nice range of features and capabilities when launched on the market.

Moreover, Samsung Electronics President and Head of Mobile Communications J. K. Shin has reportedly stated that the handset would be aggressively priced, and that the same would apply to its entire emerging smartphone range. The price point at which Samsung made the new phone available for carriers is what attracted Orange and T-Mobile the most, it seems, but the specs also played an important role.

In case there are some of you who haven't encountered the Samsung Wave S8500 yet, we should mention that it comes with a Social Hub meant to integrate all social networking profiles of contacts, including status updates and alerts, as well as messages from SMS inbox to social networking applications. Moreover, the phone also includes the Touchwiz 3.0 user interface, with customizable menus and homepage applications.
