It appears that Samsung is one of the companies with great ambitions regarding the mobile personal computer market.

According to a new report, the company wants to eventually become the top supplier of notebooks.

CES 2012 has already seen a variety of mobile PCs being unveiled.

Samsung's Executive Vice President Gregory Lee also promised that more machines would appear starting in February.

The report didn't say how much time Samsung expected to pass before it finally achieved this lofty goal.

It also did not specify any details regarding strategy beyond better focus on product design and high-end applications, as well as the optimum use of the resources Samsung produced itself: memory products and flat panels.

That said, the outfit would, of course, continue to also encourage sales of Smart TVs and smartphones, especially in Asia-Pacific.
