14 DAY TRIAL // T-Mobile USA and Samsung Mobile announced today the upcoming launch of Samsung Vibrant, the T-Mobile-bound version of the Android-based Galaxy S. According to the wireless carrier, the upcoming handset it expected to hit the shelves on July 21, though it should be put on pre-order come July 1. The price tag for the device has been set at $199 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier. The new Samsung Vibrant is expected to land on the market with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, six-axis sensor, support for T-Mobile’s super-fast HSPA+ network, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with digital zoom, auto focus, and high-definition (720p) video recording, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver with support for turn-by-turn navigation, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

Running under Google's Android 2.1 operating system, the new mobile phone provides fast access to a wide range of applications through the Android Market. Further customizations would be possible via two battery cover options in dark blue and lavender, exclusively delivered to T-Mobile's customers.
