14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung Mobile has just announced the availability of an Android application that allows users to discover the latest information about the company's upcoming SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED events and learn about new products.
Korean handset manufacturer is known for launching its best device through a series of special events called SAMSUNG MOBILE “UNPACKED,” which are split in episodes.
Those who had the chance to visit Barcelona during this year's Mobile World Congress, probably remember the grandiose launch of the Samsung Galaxy II smartphone, which was Episode I of the “Unpacked” series of events.
The application makes it easier for users to tap into the latest information about new Samsung products, especially for those who don't have the chance to attend live any of these launch events.
In addition, the application provides information about all previous SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED episodes.
Obviously, users will also be able to find the event schedule (date, time, and place) for any of the upcoming SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED event, including info about its location and way of transportation.
Every teaser released by Samsung, which is meant to offer a sneak peak at newly launching products can also be accessed via this application.
Official press releases on new products unveiled at UNPACKED event, as well as access to more detailed information about newly launched Samsung products are also available through the Android app.
According to Samsung, a new feature called “UNPACKED Live” will be available during a special event, and users will be able to replay it afterwards.
It is also worth mentioning that any press releases and presentations of a new product will only be available after the event.
SAMSUNG MOBILE UNPACKED application is now available as a free download from Android Market and is compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 or higher.
