While not quite as smart as its brother the Samsung Ultra Smart F700 that was also recently released, the F520 does come pretty close.

It comes equipped with a 3 inch touchscreen (which is slightly bigger than the F700's) and a very interesting and quite convenient up and down slider.

So, depending upon what you need at the moment you can slide it down to get a numeric keypad and 5-navigation key while if you slide it to the side a QWERTY keyboard and the numeric keypad will be revealed.

It is pretty much obvious that manufacturers are starting to focus on touch-screen equipped phones and Samsung seems to be providing both what the iPhones and LG Prada phones out there are, and an extra QWERTY keypad ensuring that the users always get to choose which is the most convenient way for them to control the device.

The handset also packs a 3 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth for connectivity, the 3 inch 262k color touchscreen display with a 480 x 272 pixel resolution and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion ensuring that the user has enough space to store audio and video files.

The built-in media player comes with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MPEG4, H.263 and H.264 file formats. The Samsung Ultra Smart F520 comes with a Flash UI that features a document viewer and a full HTML browser and dedicated keys for TV, Music and Internet.

The touchpad, described by the manufacturer as an ?innovative and sensitive touchpad that accurately recognizes human touch? is used for menu navigation. The mobile phone is a tri-band GSM with EDGE and HSDPA 2100 Mhz support and will show up in stores around September.
