That makes it one of the few such laptops to truly meet the target price that notebook makers have been moving towards over the past year.
Some other attempts were made at striking this price point, but they either resulted in failure or a device with a lot fewer “ultra” features than it should have possessed.
That said, Samsung's Series 5, measuring 13.3 inches, ships for $699 / 565 Euro even while boasting a Core i7 CPU, though the screen isn't Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), or even 1,600 x 900 pixels.
Nevertheless, even “only” HD quality (1,366 x 768 pixels) should be enough, especially with the small display.
