Another Samsung Android smartphone has just appeared in the wild courtesy to the popular NenaMark benchmark

Codenamed Samsung SHV-E120L, the device is equipped with a single core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which is complemented by the latest Adreno 220 GPU (graphics processing unit).

The phone is listed as running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, which points to a possible October or November release.

In addition, Samsung E120L comes with a WXGA capacitive touchscreen display with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution, but details about its size have yet to emerge.

Discovered by the guys over at Blogs of Mobile, the Samsung SHV-E120L is expected to be launched by Korean carrier LG U+, while another carrier-branded version dubbed Samsung E120S will be released by KT.

Samsung E120S was spotted in the wild for the first time back in July, but the phone was listed with a 1GHz processor on board, whereas the new model embeds an improved 1.5GHz CPU.

Furthermore, the E120S features an old Adreno 200 graphics chip, while the recent E120L comes with the next-generation Adreno 220 GPU, which makes it a killer combination along the 1.5GHz processor manufactured by Qualcomm.

It appears that the phone's hardware configuration was upgraded to make it more competitive with today's standards.

Samsung SHV-E120L showed its muscles on NenaMark and scored 53, which is quite good for a still-under-development smartphone.

There's no telling whether the phone will be picked by any other international operator or the Samsung SHV-E120L will be exclusively available in several Asia countries.

Obviously, we cannot talk about price options or launch date, but we can safely assume that both versions of the phone will be launched by the end of the year.

We doubt that the phone or any of its variants (European or North American) will be showcased at IFA 2011, in Berlin, later this week.
