Samsung released yesterday its latest laser printer that also copies and scans - SCX-4200- enabling the user to enjoy high-speed copying, scanning and printing right from the desk, without wasting too much space.

The SCX-4200 can print and copy at up to 600 dpi and at speeds up to 19 ppm. It can also scan in color at up to 600 x 2400 dpi optical, and up to 4800 x 4800 dpi enhanced.

The SCX-4200 features a 250-sheet multipurpose tray, a 50-sheet output capacity and a 4,000-page monthly duty cycle.

But this new Samsung development includes an extraordinary feature- multi-tasking - so the user will no longer lose time.

As it has dimensions of just 16.1" W x 14.3" D x 9.1" H, and a weight of just 20.5 lbs., the SCX-4200 will fit easily on a small corner of the desk.

In addition, the laser MPF features a 250-sheet paper cassette, high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, plus a Windows, Mac and Linux compatibility.

SCX-4200, with its 1-piece toner and drum cartridge, yields up to 3,000 pages per toner change.

Samsung Electronics has launched today another product - a new hybrid and rotating hard drive which will deliver users an extra half hour of battery life and a faster activity of their computer.

Samsung's hybrid drives work with Microsoft's Vista, and come in a variety of capacities, as they enclose either 128MB or 256MB of Samsung's OneNAND flash memory, a faster memory than the widespread NAND memory developed by Samsung, the world's largest NAND flash maker.
