14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung, one of the world's leading vendors of consumer electronics and a world leader in the segment for LCD screen products, has just announced the debut of its new premium LED monitor, the SyncMaster XL2370, a solution that is said to deliver a combination of a high-quality visual experience with an affordable price point. The new display is expected to become available soon and provide users with a picture perfect HD quality in a sleek, aerodynamic design, according to the manufacturer.

The specifications of the new XL2370 include support for a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, making Samsung's latest 23-inch display an ideal choice for multimedia enthusiasts who want to enjoy a Blu-ray quality movie, in the comfort of their own home. In addition, the new LED backlight display offers a MEGA Dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 2ms response time. The XL2370 offers an ultra-thin profile, which enables users to save space, while also offering a sleek design.
“Consumers can generally buy a monitor for relatively cheap, but the XL2370 satisfies our customers’ appetite for an ultra slim LED HD quality monitor that is visually appealing,” said Young Bae, director, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America Inc. “This monitor is a great addition for users that need enhanced video capabilities to watch movies and play games in high definition.”
The new monitor also boasts low power consumption, at 26 watts, while the On Screen Display (OSD) comes as a convenient way to interact with the monitor's controls. The monitor is expected to become available starting October 12 and will go on sale for an estimated street price of US$299.
