Samsung Electronics will release new Haptic phones, under the dubbing Haptic 2. There are three models from which users can choose: SCH-W550, SPH-W5500 and SCH-W55. The phones can be found on the Korean section of the Samsung official website, as it seems they are designed exclusively for the Korean market.

Let's take a look at the info we’ve got on these three new models. Users will get a large 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen that has been improved to respond more swiftly. Also, drag and drop, picture dragging and handwriting recognition, along with the features mentioned above, have been optimized for a more convenient usage.

The phone comes with Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), which will allow users rapid access to all the TV shows they like, at any given moment. Another thing that Haptic 2 offers is the Music Therapy feature that provides meditation music and videos, which should come really in handy when stuck in traffic, or when users just want to take a time-out and simply chill.

Other features included are an e-dictionary, Bluetooth, full internet browsing capabilities, mobile banking, geomagnetic sensor and a 5MP camera. The camera features flash, enabling quality pictures in the dark, and handshake correction, close up shot, a timer and 12 scene modes.

Also, the handset comes with a User Interface (UI) allowing customers to create their own, customized vibration mode, and other personal screen designs with up to 50 icons. This will make it possible for users to personalize their phone to their taste and liking, while also getting a unique handset in the process.

Samsung Haptic 2 (that looks a lot like Samsung Omnia) comes in two memory capacities, 4GB for the W550/W5500 models, and 16GB for W55. Pricing will vary between €480 and €550, according to the model users choose.
