Shortly after Samsung unveiled which Galaxy devices would receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update in The United States, a list of global smartphones and tablets that will get the upgrade leaked online.

SammyToday reports that Polish blogger Robert Nawrowski obtained the official list of global KitKat updates, which contains the name of the smartphones and tablets that will be upgraded to Android 4.4 regardless of the region.

According to this list, the following Galaxy smartphones will eventually receive the highly anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat update:

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8, Samsung Galaxy Grand, and Samsung Galaxy Express 2.

As many of you have probably noticed, the popular Samsung Galaxy S III is missing from the list of devices eligible to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update. According to Samsung Poland, this model will not be upgraded to KitKat due to low memory.

The following tablets will also receive Android 4.4 KitKat in the coming weeks: Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 inch, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 inch, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10 inch.

Keep in mind that some of these devices might receive a preliminary Jelly Bean update before being upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung Galaxy Note II has already received a Jelly Bean update in most regions and will be upgraded to KitKat in the following months. The Galaxy Grand will also be upgraded to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean before jumping to KitKat.

It is also important to understand that this list might not be final, as Samsung may add newer smartphones that have just been released on the market.
