With less than a week left until the official reveal of the Samsung Galaxy S5, we're still not sure what the South Korean company will announce. There have been many rumors pointing to a possible QHD Galaxy S5, but info on an FHD model has been spotted online as well.

Although there's a high chance that Samsung will launch at least two versions of Galaxy S5, standard and premium, there's no telling whether both devices will be introduced next week at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 trade fair.

The premium version of Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to boast a 5.25-inch QHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, whereas the standard version will only pack a 5.25 display with full HD (1080p) resolution.

There will definitely be some design-wise differences between the two Galaxy S5 models as well, but for the time being, it's unclear what any of the units will look like.

Anyway, it appears that a report coming from the Korean media claims that Samsung is not ready to introduce both Galaxy S5 models next week at MWC 2014.

TalkAndroid reports that etnews has additional information coming from sources close to the matter, which confirms that Samsung will only release the standard Galaxy S5 model on February 24. This means that the first Galaxy S5 smartphone to go on sale will feature a FHD display.

However, those who were expecting Samsung to release the premium Galaxy S5 model won’t have to wait for too long. The same report from the Korean media claims that Samsung might release the QHD Galaxy S5 a few months later.

As always, we recommend our readers to take this information with a grain of salt until more sources confirm the same details or Samsung comes forward with an official statement. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
