Samsung could have launched a single monitor, or several of them one by one, but instead, it decided to refresh its whole business lineup in one swoop. No less than three new sets of displays have been launched.

Instead of consumers, Samsung is catering to the needs of businesspersons, and everyone else that works at or for a business.

In order from the highest-end to the lowest-end, the lines are called SC650, SC 45 and SC200, although even some models from that last line have Full HD support (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution).

The SC650 have adjustable stands, thin bezel, Samsung MagicAngle technology (it maximizes viewing angles) and prices of $229.99 / 229.99 Euro to $399.99 / 399.99 Euro.

They have up to 5,000:1 contrast ratio and measure 21.5 inches, 23.6 inches and 27 inches in diagonal.

The SC450 monitor series has many of the features of the other line, but a broader size range: 19 inches, 20, 21.5, 22, 23, 23.6, 24 and 27 inches. The price range is $129.99 / 129.99 Euro to $349.99 / 349.99 Euro.

As for the SC200 series, its members lack the adjustable stand, but they do have the VESA mount compatibility and MagicAngle technology. Their screen sizes are of 18.5, 19, 20, 21.5, 23 and 23.6 inches.

Samsung's new monitors have resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and will be available by the end of this month (January 2013), except for the SC650 that is slated for summer release.

“The new lineup features a range of display products that deliver a perfect balance between an excellent user experience and lower cost of ownership,” Samsung said in its press release.

In other words, buyers of the new displays should get their money's worth and enjoy less clutter, more working space and a good image quality on top of everything else.
