14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung pays attention to women’s wants and needs when it comes to mobile phones, which is one of the reasons the company launched the La Fleur lineup of handsets a few years ago.
Today, the Korean handset maker announced the availability of its entire phone collection La Fleur 2012 in Russia. This the second year in a row that Samsung decided to launch these women-centric mobile phones in Russia, but hopefully, they will be released in other countries as well.
This year’s La Fleur collection includes the Samsung Galaxy Ace and Wave Y smartphones, as well as the Samsung C3322 and S3520 feature-phones.
All four handsets will be available for purchase starting this month for prices ranging from 9990 rubles (332 USD or 250 EUR) to 3490 rubles (115 USD or 90 EUR).
The most expensive of the four, Samsung Galaxy Ace will be available for purchase for 9990 rubles (332 USD or 250 EUR). Obviously, this is the same affordable Android smartphone that was launched exactly one year ago.
However, the La Fleur variant is all dressed up in flower patterns to suit the collection’s theme and appeal to women who can now use this smartphone as a fashion accessory as well. The device is only available in white color and has the same specs sheet as the original model.
Samsung Wave Y La Fleur is a bada 2.0 smartphone, which is equipped with an 832 MHz single-core processor, 150 MB of internal memory, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). The Wave Y La Fleur will be available for purchase for 5990 rubles (200 USD or 150 EUR) outright.
Samsung C3322 La Fleur is a feature-phone with dual-SIM support and 2.2-inch standard display (240 x 320 pixels resolution). The phone embeds 45MB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB). It will go for 3990 rubles (130 USD or 100 EUR).
Last but not least, Samsung C3520 La Fleur is a clamshell feature-phone that packs 28MB storage, microSD card slot (up to 16GB), 2.4-inch display (240 x 320 pixels resolution), and a 1.3-megapixel camera. The C3520 La Fleur is the cheapest of the four and will go for 3490 rubles (115 USD or 90 EUR).
