14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung's CES 2011 camcorder lineup has been quite an impressive one, the company rolling out, beside a couple of pocket and 720p definition camcorders
, the HMX-H300 series of Full HD camcorders, designed for users who want to enjoy good-quality videos without having to tweak too many settings in order to attain the desired results.
The HMX-300 series includes the HMX-H300, H303, H304 and H305 models, the main difference between these camcorders being the amount of storage space they provide.
The new camcorders from Samsung deliver Full HD 1080p, 720p and SD recording resolutions, while also being able to take still photos at 4.9MP.
They're built around an 1/ 4.1” 5.1 Megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, accompanied by a Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan-HD, 30x optical zoom / 300x digital zoom lens, with a 2.47mm ~ 74.1mm focal length, as well as the OIS Duo (upgraded optical image stabilization) system.
Other important features worth mentioning include the face detection system (up to 6 persons), 3 lux @1/30sec minimum illumination, Magic Finger Touch/Shot feature and the 3.0-inch 230K Touch LCD screen.

“The advantages of Samsung innovation can be seen in the HMX-H300’s core technologies, but also the inclusion of advanced features like OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) Duo and Smart Auto functions, making video recording an enjoyable experience for everyone,” the company's rep concluded.
All the members of the new HMX-H300 series will arrive in stores over the course of February 2007, the HMX-H300 selling for $399, the H303/304 for $449/499, and the H305 for $599, respectively.
