Samsung seems to have in mind the idea of reviving some of its older phones by giving them a new look, while also adding some new features, so as to turn them into devices that see more traction from users.

One of the handsets that have received such a treatment from the Korean mobile phone maker was F480 TouchWiz, and users seem to have welcomed the customizations the device received, which, it is reported, led to the company planning on working together with premium brands to apply customizations to a wider number of its handsets.

According to the news on the Web, the mobile phone maker has partnered with Airness to enhance the looks of another handset, namely the Samsung G600. As a result of this cooperation, we are now able to see the Samsung Airness G600 mobile phone on display, targeted mainly at those who are fond of sports, and providing them with some of the qualities of the Airness brand, including strength, agility and elegance of the panther.

The new Samsung Airness G600 comes in a sliding form factor, while featuring a glossy black design with red icons and custom wallpaper. The mobile phone brings a range of multimedia capabilities, including music player and FM Radio receiver, while also including a 5-megapixel photo snapper and TV output.

The handset also sports a 2.2-inch TFT LCD screen that comes with support for 16 million colors, and includes a microSD memory card slot offering users the option of additional storage space. Moreover, the new device is also able to read PowerPoint, Word, Excel and PDF files.

The new Samsung Airness G600 is expected to come to the market as soon as April this year, with a price tag set at €199 before subsidies apply. Stay tuned to learn what other handsets Samsung will consider for design enhancements in the near future.
