14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier today I told you Samsung will globally preview two of its newly introduced products, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit starting today. And now we have word the two wearables plus the Gear 2 Neo have already been made available for pre-order from AT&T.
For those interested in getting some hands-on time with the products before pledging their money, Sammy invites you to do so in Samsung Experience Store, mobile carrier stores (like AT&T’s for that matter) and other select retail stores spread around 61 countries.
Samsung says the US and Switzerland are going to be the first lucky territories to take advantage of the global preview (which also includes the Galaxy S5 smartphone). The remaining 59 market, including UK, Germany, China and Brazil will follow soon.
Now for the most important part, pricing. The Gear 2 is up for grabs for $299 / €217 while the Gear 2 Neo will ship for $199 / €144, the same as with the Gear Fit (via AndroidOS).
The carrier also noted that those willing to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S5 from one of their retail stores (or online) will be awarded a $50 / €36 discount for buying a Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo. Expect the wearables to start shipping out starting April 11.
