Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is about to make its debut in Mother Russia. This isn’t the LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab 7.7 which is expected to arrive on the market in Q1 2012, but the standard version of the slate.

The folks over at SammyHub have just learned that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now up for pre-order via Samsung Russia site.

Customers who want to pre-purchase the tablet will have to pay 29,990 rubles (960 USD or 740 EUR) for the 16GB model, or 34,990 rubles (1,120 USD or 865 EUR) for the 32GB variant.

There are no details on 64GB model’s price tag or availability, but the folks at SammyHub claim that the tablet will be launched a bit later this month.

Samsung has confirmed that it will ship the slate on February 2 to all customers who made pre-orders, while regular customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy Tab 7.7 from its flagship store in Moscow starting February 4.

Unveiled back in September at IFA 2011, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is one of the few tablets that come with GSM support, so that users can make and receive calls. Obviously, this is not the tablet’s main utility.

For the time being, the tablet is powered by Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but Samsung will upgrade the Galaxy Tab 7.7 to Ice Cream Sandwich sometime this year, along with other high-end Android devices.

It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first tablet to feature a Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen display (800 x 1280 pixels resolution).

On the inside, the slate is equipped with a 1.4 GHz dual core Exynos processor, a Mali-400MP graphics processing unit, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

There’s also a 3-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as 2-megapixel front-facing photo snapper for video calls.
