In recent days we have seen Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab 4 series specifications leak in full splendor. And it appears it won’t be long before the new batch is available for grabs on the market.

I’m saying this because the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (codenamed Millet) has just been spotted making an appearance at the FCC. So far, we only have the Wi-Fi model.

The slate is said to arrive with an 8-inch TFT LCD screen supporting a WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels). Samsung has upped things in the hardware department by adding a 1.2 quad-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM, which I speculated might be an Exynos.

Turns out, the truth is a little different and the slate will be packing under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC under the bonnet. Also note, the tablet will arrive with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

Expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 to make an appearance in Barcelona later this month, at MWC 2014.
