Samsung has recently launched a trio of tablets with large screens aimed at the high-end market. But Sammy is not forgetting the mid-range sector and already has a new 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab tablet in the works.

The good news is, we’re probably going to see the slate hit the shelves soon, as the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (codenamed Matisse) has already been spotted making a stop to the FCC.

The specifications of the upcoming device leaked in full view, last week when it was revealed the slob will come offering a TFT LCD display with a pretty average WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels) and draw power from an improved 1.2 Quad-core processor (no info yet whether this is an Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon).

The tablet’s strong points appear to be its 8MP rear camera, the hefty 6800 mAh battery and the fact it will run Android 4.4 out of the box. Matisse will most likely see the light of day at MWC 2014.
