In mid-January Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite budget tablet, but didn't make any specifications about pricing.

it was initially speculated that the product will come with a super low price-tag, but then the Galaxy Tab 3 ILite showed up for pre-order in Russia for $206 / €152 a pop (for the Wi-Fi only model, the 3G is a little more expensive).

Now, the device has shown up in a few online retail locations in France (like Fnac) with prices starting from €159 / $214, maintaining the same margin we saw before.

As a memory refresh, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has a 7-inch WSVGA screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and draws power from a 1.2GHz dual-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device features only a mediocre 2MP rear camera on board.

Furthermore, Samsung has packed microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, BT 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS + GLONASS and a 3600 mAh battery said to be offering up to 8 hours of life.
