Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of Samsung’s newly announced Galaxy S5 mini smartphone will find it already available for pre-order in their country, on the website of mobilefun.co.uk.

The retailer is allowing users to reserve the phone before it becomes generally available for purchase at £369 (€460.99 / $627), SIM-free and unlocked.

The price tag includes VAT, yet the retailer hasn’t provided specific info on when the device will start arriving in users hands as of now. People interested in the matter can, however, register for more info on the phone’s availability.

One other thing that should be noted here is the fact that Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is available at mobilefun.co.uk in Black, Blue and White color versions.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Galaxy S5 mini was made official earlier this week as the smaller version of Galaxy S5. The handset sports looks similar to those of the flagship but comes with downgraded hardware specifications.

Samsung has announced the new mobile phone with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Moreover, the mobile phone arrives on the market with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor packed inside (Samsung has unveiled an Exynos version of the phone as well), and with 1.5GB of RAM next to it, which should ensure that users receive great performance capabilities from it at all times.

The hardware specs list of this mobile phone also includes 16GB of internal memory, though users will be able to expand it by up to 64GB, courtesy of a microSD memory card slot.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini sports an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash, auto-focus, HDR, and full HD video recording capabilities. Moreover, the handset sports a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

At the same time, the Galaxy S5 mini features support for 4G LTE networks, along with 3G (HSDPA, 42 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76Mbps), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC, and a built-in GPS receiver for navigation purposes.

The new device is powered by a Li-Ion 2100mAh battery and runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI loaded on top.

Other retailers in the UK are also expected to add the mobile phone to their offerings, the same as wireless carriers in the country, so keep an eye on this space for more info on its availability.
