Russian mobile guru Eldar Murtazin shows the insides and outsides of the phone

Announced in late February, Samsung’s next top of the line handset in the Galaxy series, the Galaxy S5, will be launched on the market on April 11.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S5 will be released almost simultaneously in more than 150 countries next month. There’s no mention of price yet, but we suspect that the smartphone won’t be priced higher than the Galaxy S4 at launch.

Even though there’s still one month until the official release on the market of the Samsung Galaxy S5, it looks like the first extensive review of the high-end smartphone has just been published online.

Russian mobile guru Eldar Murtazin does not seem to be bothered by any NDAs or such restrictions, which is why those who know Russian language can now read and/or listen to a huge review that’s been posted on Mobile-Review.

Murtazin himself recorded several consistent videos demoing some of the most important features of the Samsung Galaxy S5, such as the camera and TouchWiz UI.

The insides of the phone are detailed in a separate video where Samsung fans can also see the Galaxy S5 lined up with Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.

The only odd thing that we noticed while watching one of Murtazin’s video reviews is the fact that Samsung placed the microSD card slot right above the microSIM tray.

From what we’ve seen, you have access to both independently, which means that you don’t have to pull the microSD card in order to switch the SIM inside the phone. However, we can’t tell for sure how hard it will be to make the switch.

In case you don’t know Russian, you will certainly be able to put the whole review into a translator of you choosing. However, the videos recorded by Murtazin are entirely in Russian, so unless you know the language, you won’t be able to understand too much.

Still, a picture is worth a thousand words, so a video should worth much more, so we strongly recommend checking out these videos if you plan on pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy S5.

As we get closer to Samsung Galaxy S5’s market release, there’s a high chance that more of these reviews will pop up online. Hopefully, some will be written/spoken in English for a better understanding.

We suspect that lots of Android fans will refrain from pre-ordering the Galaxy S5 until HTC’s flagship smartphone goes official, so they can compare both devices and make the best choice. Are you going to get Samsung’s Galaxy S5?
