Samsung Galaxy S III has been officially introduced in 28 countries on May 29. However, most carriers and retailers in the UK are faced with stock shortage, which is about to become a big issue for customers who did not pre-order the Galaxy S III.

Unveiled earlier this month, the Galaxy S III has been confirmed to reach North America in June, though Samsung did not offer an exact release date.

Moreover, Samsung Canada announced plans to launch the Galaxy S III through all carriers and authorized retailers across the country, but, again, failed to offer any details on availability and pricing options.

Today, Canadian carrier Videotron announced on its site that the Samsung Galaxy S III is coming on June 20. No word on the price tag yet, but more details will probably emerge in the following weeks.

Customers who wish to make sure they will receive the Galaxy S III as soon as it becomes available can fill out an online form posted on the carrier’s site, in order to get the latest info on the smartphone’s release date.

According to Videotron, “the Galaxy S III introduces a new concept in mobile usability, allowing users to communicate and share their experiences naturally and instantly.

This much anticipated new device combines innovative smartphone design and heightened intelligence to make everyday life easier. The Galaxy S III also sports a range of additional features that boost performance and the overall user experience in an entirely new way.”

Unfortunately, there is no information on Videotron’s Galaxy S III’s specs sheet, so we can’t tell whether this is shipped with Samsung’s Exynos quad-core processor or it uses a Qualcomm dual-core CPU.

However, it’s certain that the smartphone will be released with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, along with several innovative apps and services, such as S Voice, S Beam, Direct Call and others.
