It looks like the wait is over for Virgin Mobile USA customers who still want to grab the Samsung Galaxy S II. The carrier will launch the said device on November 15 for $370/€290 off-contract.

Customers will be able to choose from two color options, silver and white. The Galaxy S II can be activated with Virgin Mobile’s “Beyond Talk” plans starting at $35/€25 per month.

We expect the smartphone to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though there’s a slight chance that the Galaxy S II will be delivered with Gingerbread at launch.

If that’s the case, Virgin Mobile Galaxy S II will probably receive the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade soon afterwards.

The first press photo of Samsung Galaxy S II from Virgin Mobile was leaked last month via EVLeaks and we thought the smartphone would go on sale in just a few days. Alas, it appears that it took Virgin Mobile about a month to make it official.

The phone will run both 3G and 4G and it will be equipped with the same 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor as Sprint’s Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch.

Software-wise, Virgin Mobile customers can expect to find a fair share of bloatware pre-installed on the Galaxy S II. More details on this one when the phone goes official.

It’s also worth mentioning that the device boasts a pretty decent 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen device that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The phone will be packed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card. An 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording will be included as well.
