It has just appeared in Bulgaria, but pricing has yet to be unveiled

The Galaxy S DUOS 2 is the most recent addition to Samsung’s portfolio of Android smartphones. The device emerged online yesterday and we reported that it would be launched in India very soon.

Rumor has it that several major retailers in India will receive the Galaxy S DUOS 2 in the coming days and that the smartphone will be available for purchase for around Rs 11,000 ($175 / €130) outright.

Today, fonearena reports that the Galaxy S DUOS 2 appeared on Samsung’s official website from Bulgaria. The pricing has yet to be unveiled, but we suspect that the South Korean company is likely to make the smartphone official soon, so more info on that will be available in the coming days.

For those who did not know about the existence of the handset, this is Samsung Galaxy S DUOS’ successor and it’s been confirmed to ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Hardware-wise, the Galaxy S DUOS 2 comes equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, which is complemented by 768MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

Thanks to the included microSD card slot, users will be able to further expand storage up to 64GB. It is also worth mentioning that the phone sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

As the name suggests, the smartphone offers dual-SIM support (GSM / GSM), but also packs 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

On the back, Samsung Galaxy S DUOS 2 features a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

According to Samsung’s official website, the smartphone weighs 118g (battery included) and is exactly 10.57m thick. Other highlights of the phone include 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery and GPS with A-GPS support.
